Mr. Wambogo Moses, a businessman and MP aspirant, urges Bugisu region to engage in ongoing Census exercise. "The government wants to know the number of people in the area so that it can plan better and provide service like roads, hospitats, schools," he stated. "On Saturday, he was counted along with family."

"I appeal to my people in the region to embrace government programs to eradicate poverty in our households, so that we can afford to sustain our families and educate our children. If Bugisu is to grow, we must extend goodwill to others," Wambogo emphasized.

"This is not a time for politics, but for serving the people and mobilizing the community to embrace government programs. We will begin discussing politics when the NRM roadmap is released, or if the time comes, I will inform the public of my stance because I am Ugandan and qualified for any position," he added.
