Hello,

And welcome to day 3 of my 1 week trip to Walt Disney World! Today should have been a rest and chill day, but once again i packed as much in as possible and still found it very relaxing.

After a relatively slow and lazy start (for Disney vacation standards) i got myself up and dressed and made my way out of the Disney bubble and to ChickfilA for the first time. This would be stop 2 on the 3 chicken showdown and it proved to be a huge hit. After the food i made my way across to Target for a quick look, but it was decided to make my way to Publix instead as they always have the stuff i am after. As someone who does not get access to American food & drink options year round, i was in my element. I got my supplies and head back home to Saratoga Springs.

After unpacking my delights i headed to Disney Springs for a walk around and a visit to the M&M's store. Not something i would do while back home, but i am a huge fan of their merchandise and the almond M&M's. Along the way i saw the Joffreys Coffee Star Wars collection and stopped to have quick look. After some very enjoyable retail therapy and a walk around Disney Springs i headed back to the room to read and relax.

After some time at the room relaxing and reading, i was looking for some fun and made my way to Epcot for the evening. Flower and Garden Festival was in full swing and it was really awesome seeing how colourful and detailed this years display was.

We made our way to China to Lotus Blossom Cafe which was the pit stop for food this evening. As someone who doesn't have Chinese food too often (despite enjoying it) this was a very welcome treat and the food was lovely.

Once the food was consumed it was time for a trip around the rest of the World Showcase, where i noticed Plain White T's were playing at the America Pavilion. I headed on making stops in the Japan store and checking out more Flower & Garden displays along the way. Once a full loop was completed, Living With the Land was a walk on wait so i headed there for an Epcot staple. Next to the Land there was a Butterfly enclosure where you could hang out with some Butterflies, which i stopped by and checked out despite none of them wanting to be friends :(

I took in the sights for a while longer until the sun went down (despite it looking much brighter on camera!) and headed to Moana Journey of Water to see the attraction for the first time lit up at night. I am really glad i spent the extra time here to see the attraction at night as it really added an extra element of magic to it for me.

And with that leaving Spaceship Earth in my dust i headed back to Saratoga Springs to close off the night. What was supposed to be a chill weekend day was once again action packed! Some new experiences were had and enjoyed. I got myself in bed ready for the next day at Typhoon Lagoon & Raising Canes.
