Dubai Mall is a shopping mall in dubai. The largest mall in Dubai, it is the secondlargest mall in the world by total land area and the 26th largest shopping mall in the world by gross leasable area, with a total retail floor area of 350,000 m2. The mall is part of the 20 billion dollar Downtown complex adjacent to the Burj Khalifa, and includes over 1,200 shops. In 2011, it was the most visited building on the planet, and attracts over 54 million visitors each year.

The Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is one of the largest indoor aquariums in the world, located in the heart of Dubai Mall. It is home to over 140 species of aquatic animals, including sand tiger sharks and stingrays. The Aquarium features a 48metre tunnel that envelops visitors from overhead and around, offering a complete fisheye view. The Underwater Zoo takes visitors through different aquatic environments, including rainforest, touch ponds and UAE's nocturnal creatures.
