July 2022: V3Cars analyses which variant of the petrolpowered Volkswagen Virtus makes the most sense for buyers in terms of the value it offers for the money you pay.

Prices of the Virtus start from Rs.11.22 lakh and go up to Rs.17.92 lakh.

The Volkswagen Virtus is 4561mm long, 1752mm wide and 1507mm tall. Bigger exterior dimensions give a car a stronger road presence. The Virtus has a 2651mm long wheelbase. A long wheelbase makes the car more stable at high speeds and gives better legroom in the back seat, while a shorter wheelbase makes the car more agile.

The Volkswagen Virtus gets a 1.0L turbo petrol engine, which is available with a 6speed MT and 6speed TC transmission. The Virtus's turbo petrol engine makes 115PS of power at 5500rpm and 178Nm of torque between 1750 and 4500rpm.

Virtus also gets a 1.5L turbo petrol engine, which is available only with a 7speed DCT transmission. The Virtus’s 1.5L turbo petrol engine makes 150PS of power at 6000rpm and 250Nm of torque between 1600 and 3500rpm.
