Warning message and the yellow light are constantly on any time the parking brake is activated. Bought a new switch from the dealer for $130 no difference. Also tried one from Aliexspress for only $4 with the same result. Attempted PBS reset but it also didn't help. At this point, I realised that there are only two more steps left: PB module software upgrade and if this will not help then module replacement.
I ended up replacing the module at a local mechanic. Replaced with a secondhand one to save some $. Total: $980 including labour.
