Friday officially marks a new chapter at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. City and community leaders held an official grand reopening ceremony for the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier. The pier has been closed since late January after a man drove off the edge, prompting a massive recovery effort at the Oceanfront.
