At Mata Mata camp, Kgalagadi Transfrontier park, we was woken up about 04.00 to a lot of noise, hyenas and lions. It turned out to be 3 lions defending their right to drink first against 6 hyenas. Before we had found the torch light one of the hyenas got bidden badly. The stand out lasted for about an hour. Sadly the generater at the camp was turned on only at 05.20, we could really have used the spotligt to make filming much easier. But it might not be the best quality video but it shows how tough life can be during night time at Kgalagadhi.
