*Oh, and I've discovered a rather obscure Chrome setting (hardware acceleration) was the culprit in degrading the YouTube vid image I'd been seeing. Switching that back to "on" fixed it. Gotta say, the YouTube image is now wonderful no complaint from me about blocky VP9 codec here!
