We didn’t… until we built out van and decided to take a 3months long trip covering the entire Pacific coast. We couldn’t leave our kitty behind for such a long time so we trained him to become an adventure kitty. Turns out he LOVES it! He completely transformed himself from an older overweight scaredy cat to a vanlifer and hiker with a lot of personality!

There is a common misconception that cats are not as adventurous as dogs. It is true to the extent that most cats are uncomfortable when taken outside of their normal environment and it takes time for them to adjust. But they are so curious, observant and smart, that once they understand the changes, they will love it! And you will love seeing how they discover this new world.
