In this video, we show you how to do a valve adjustment on the Toyota 3.4L 5VZFE Engine. This engine was used in 3rd Gen 4runners, 1st Gen Tacomas, 1st Gen Tundras and T100s.

(If you’re going to follow my suggestion and buy a multitude of sizes in advance of doing this job, I’d recommend buying from your local dealer so you can return the ones you don’t need. If you plan on keeping the shims you don’t use, then I’d suggest ordering them online from Toyota parts seller like Toyota Parts Deal or McGeorge Toyota to save money.)
