Over the years I've been asked numerous times; "Do VA Loans Have Closing Costs?". While most veterans believe their VA home loan benefit frees them from closing costs, I'm here to tell you that is simply NOT TRUE!
VA Home Loans will ALWAYS have costs associated with the loan. Older vets believe va home loans are what they called NO. NO! Loans (no closing costs and no down payment). Again. Simply not true. The VA loan has exactly the same exact costs in conjunction with the loan as any other home loan type. Conventional loans and FHA loans both have closing costs and so do VA loans and Veterans need to be prepared for and budget for those at the close of escrow.
