UT/AZ Roadtrip: Arches National Park Devils Garden

10/28 Trail Tortoise and I were up at 5 am on all packed up by 5:30. We drove to Moab, UT and resupplied our food before entering the park with the timed reservation at 9 am. We checked in with the camp host at Devils Garden Campground for site availability. We got lucky and they had site 5 available so we setup camp and then walked to the Devils Garden trailhead. We hiked to all the arches along the loop and finished along the primitive trail. It started raining on us on the final stretch back to camp. We cooked dinner in the tent and then packed most things back in the car. The forecast was for heavy rain, wind, and freezing temperatures. The tent we are in does not handle the wind so if it picks up we're going to have to move into the car. My favorite arch was Double O and TT's favorite arch was the private arch. The hike was challenging with slippery rock, areas with drops we needed to navigate, there were drop offs (if you have a fear of heights), and some spots needed a map to find the route. It started to rain on us on the way back to camp. We cooked in the tent since it was well ventilated and we had a table and chairs in our 5 person tent for the two of us. We managed to stay all night in the tent since the wind backed off a bit.
