Using the Shower Miser system when boondocking.

Alan does stuff.

This system is installed in our 2022 Tiffin Allegro Open Road, 36UA. When boondocking (Camping without water/sewer hookups in this case) it helps you conserve fresh water and grey tank space by allowing you to recirculate cold water to the fresh water tank until it is warm.

BTW, in this video I use the word 'boondocking' without defining it. Generally in RV'ing folks talk about boondocking as being when they do not have water/sewer or electric hookups. For this video, I am referring to boon docking in a sense not having any sewer hookups. If you have sewer hookups you should generally leave the gray open, and you are not worrying about filling it and not use the shower miser. Just keep in mind whenever you use the Shower Miser, it is bypassing water into the water tank, which can fill up and when it over fills water can find its way into the RV. Be careful.
