Dánská architektonická hvězda, zakladatel studia BIG, a také jeden z tvůrců nové pražské Vltavské filharmonie – to je Bjarke Ingels. Už ve svých 27 letech spoluzaložil první ateliér a o čtyři roky později začal budovat svoji vlastní značku BIG.

S tou se proslavil například díky návrhu Amager Bakke v Kodani, elektrárny, která vyrábí energii z odpadu a zároveň její fasáda slouží ke sportovním aktivitám jako lezení nebo lyžování. Právě veřejný prostor a hra je pomyslnou výkladní skříní studia, snad nejznámějším příkladem je městský park Superkilen z roku 2012 který oživil tehdy vyloučenou čtvrť Nørrebro. První významnou pražskou stavbou od studia BIG by se tak měla stát Vltavská filharmonie. Bjarke Ingels do Prahy přijede promluvit o výstavbě této nové pražské dominanty.

He became famous for designing the Amager Bakke in Copenhagen, a power plant that generates energy from waste and also has space on its facade for recreational activities such as climbing and skiing. It is public space and playfulness that are the studio's trademarks, perhaps the most famous example being the 2012 urban park Superkilen, which revitalized a thenexcluded neighborhood of Nørrebro. The Vltava Philharmonic Hall is set to become the first major Prague building by BIG, and Bjarke Ingels will come to Prague to talk about the construction of this new Prague landmark.
