What a surprise it was to find out that we could eat for halfprice at a nicer restaurant in downtown Las Vegas! On Wednesdays at Siegels 1941 (located in the historic El Cortez Casino in Fremont) diners over the age of 50 can choose from a select menu and receive 50% off their regular prices. We tried a classic hamburger and a halfroasted chicken, both served with sides. Plus we selected a couple of desert cocktails that were a delicious bargain.
