Ok I got this "Universal" fog light kit off of eBay a few years ago, figured I'd go over the basic wiring on how to wire it on about any vehicle and explain the way it works. Sometimes you learn more by being able to see what is going on than trying to wing it.

Not all are "exactly" the same but the principle behind how to wire is. If you have bought a "brand specific" like a "Jeep" or "Dodge" follow those directions they probably have a specific harness to use.
