Continuing our Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Beginner's Guide series, we are taking a look at the Allied Spy: Spies are highly underrated as a Tier 2 infiltration infantry. They are able to disguise themselves as any infantry unit and infiltrate / sabotage enemy structures. Their disguise can be identified by stealthdetection scouts. Spy is more often disguised as a unit of your own rather than used as an infiltrator. Their Bribe special ability allows you to purchase any number of nearby enemy units for the price of only $1000! They are essentially the only "mind control" units in RA3!

For Spys strategy, you can combo them with IFV's. A Spy IFV becomes a sniper that oneshot any infantries. Cryocopters can also shrink Spy IFV's to allow for fast transport or even surprise bribery. Spy's Bribe can also work with support powers such as Chrono Rift or Cryoshot to guarantee success.
