The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs published a report on May 8th reducing the number of women and children believed to be killed in Gaza by nearly half, but clarified the total death toll remains unchanged. Abraham Wyner, a professor of statistics and data science at the University of Pennsylvania, says he predicted the numbers could not have been right.
