Backlinks are one of the most important Google ranking factors.

There are two ways to think about backlinks:

1⃣ Your domain strength

2⃣ Your quantity of backlinks on the page level

You need to acquire backlinks to all pages throughout your website. Examine how many backlinks your competitors have for the target keyword you want to rank for. Then work to narrow that gap on the page level.
