We are having a PV solar panel and Tesla Powerwall installation. In part 1, we have the technical site survey and speak to Ross Martindale of The Phoenixworks (now Egg). Discuss the differences between string inverters, microinverters and DC Optimisers.
The Solar Wall can also act as a backup solution during power failures. It can be wired for particular circuits to be backed up, but that adds to cost, so we're going with the whole house on the Powerwall and will manage our consumption to not trip it out.
