ProvidentDentistry

This is Everett's first visit! I'll wash my hands, and we'll put on the bib so we don't get your shirt wet. I'll put my mask and glasses on. Then I am going to put my gloves on. We're going to give you some sunglasses too because we use a bright light. Now, I'm going to tilt you back and count your teeth. I have my mirror so I can see in your mouth, and my special tooth counter. You have 10 on top, and 10 on bottom so 20 teeth!
Your teeth are looking healthy so we're going to go ahead and brush them, and you get to pick your flavor. This is my spinny toothbrush, it's going to tickle your teeth. This is my water squirter and Mr. Thirsty, and you'll close your lips around it so it can suck the water out.
Everette is all done with his cleaning. Now Dr. Sharma is going to come in and count your teeth again. Now your teeth are sparkling! We'll go over any allergies or health concerns. First I'll wash my hands, and then put on a mask. You have 10 on the top, 10 on the bottom and no sugar bugs!
Now the exam is done, Renae is going to come back and put some fluoride on his teeth. With the fluoride, he and eat and drink right away. You just want to wait 6 hours to brush his teeth. It will have a taste to it, you might see it on his teeth a little bit but it will brush off.
With brushing, you want to make sure youre brushing for 2 minutes twice a day. We included a little 2 minute timer in our goodie bag. There are little flossers that are easy for kids, and you only have to do that once a day. Lastly, we have the toothpaste with fluoride in it. Now you get to pick out a prize!
