Last year there were two lethal shark attacks 3 months apart in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa an unheard of event, because prior to that there had only ever been one lethal shark attack in the area back in 2011. So why did the waters around Plettenberg Bay turn so dangerous last year in particular, could it have anything to do with the two orcas, Port and Starboard, that have been terrorising the great white sharks of South Africa? I invited Kristian from Shark Bytes to discuss what could have lead to these tragedies and our conversation took us in some unexpected directions.
