Chicken Liver Treats:
Ingredients
1/2 cup chicken liver
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup hot water
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 large eggs
2 cups whole wheat flour

Directions:
preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a baking sheet with a baking mat or parchment paper.
Cut the liver in bite size pieces
In a large bowl add the egg and give a good whisk. Add the pumpkin puree, peanut butter, hot water, liver, cinnamon and give a good mix. Then slowing mix in flour a little at a time. Give a good stir until everything is well incorporated.
Add rounded tablepsoons of dough on baking sheet. Make sure to leave 1/2 inch spaces between each treat.
Bake them for 1520 minutes until slightly hardened
* Allow treats to fully cool before giving to your pup.


Beef Liver Dog Biscuits
Ingredients
1/4 cup chopped beef liver
1 cup quick cooking grits
1/4 cup wheat germ
2 large eggs
1/4 cup unsalted chicken broth
2 cups whole wheat flour

Directions
Cook the quick grits according to their instructions and set to the side to cool.
preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a baking sheet with a baking mat or parchment paper.
Cut the liver in bite size pieces
In a large bowl add the egg, cooled grits, liver, wheat germ, broth and give a good mix. Slowly add the flour in giving a good mix until everything is well incorporated.
Add rounded tablepsoons of dough on baking sheet. Make sure to leave 1/2 inch spaces between each treat.
Bake them for 1520 minutes until slightly hardened
* Allow treats to fully cool before giving to your pup.

TREAT STORAGE
Store treats in an airtight container on your counter for 34 days. Store in fridge for up to 7 days. I store extra in the freezer in an airtight container or freezer bag for up tp 3 months.
