If you ride a Twin Cam Harley it's no secret to you the bike runs hot, especially if it's fuel injected. The Twin Cam engines out of the factory were made to run at levels of lean they weren't exactly designed to be run at. The carbed Twin Cam engines weren't so much an issue and neither were the first fuel injected twin cams. It's the later model Twin Cam Harley that runs hot with catalyzed exhaust systems, super lean fuel tuning, taking it even further followed by smaller injectors. Fortunately for us there are some basic things we can do to counteract this and get these bikes cooled off.
