Turo Host Pre-Trip Checklist: Getting Ready for Your First Turo Trip!

So you’ve done it! Decided to give this Turo thing a try! Turo is pretty self explanatory, they do a good job in guiding you through the rental process as a host. Here’s a couple tips and hints on what I do as an owner of a 12 car fleet to keep things flowing smoothly.

As you add more and more vehicles to your fleet, your biggest enemy becomes time management. There’s simply not enough time to manage more and more vehicles without some kind of help.

Best way to work through this is to set up a QUICK pre trip process from the start and to stick to it. This will ensure that when you do get more vehicles you already have a simple and quick process down.

Here’s how it actually goes
As soon as a vehicle gets back I try to at least vacuum it. That way when it gets another booking I just have to worry about the outside.
I can wash and dry the outside of the car within 30 minutes. Then a quick 5 minute pit stop to take 1520 pics for the outside and 1015 pics for the inside. I take one pic for the (insta)gram and then I finish the Turo setup for fuel and mileage, and then meet and greet your client and get a pic of the license.

Very easy process and keeps everything running smoothly.

Next video I’ll show you guys what apps I use to help keep me on top of maintenance, private rentals, and etc.
