Forced induction systems are either turbocharged or supercharged, but which is better? While both have their strengths and weaknesses, Gale Banks explains why the turbocharger is generally his "weapon of choice". That doesn't mean that the supercharger doesn't have its place. Our 1966 Chevy C20 LokJaw uses a Gen 5 3.8L twinscrew Whipple supercharger on our R866SC L5P, making it respond unlike any other diesel engine.
