American professional eater Randy Santel versus Mister Spaghetti's XL Spaghetti Bolognese Pasta Challenge hosted by the Mister Spaghetti Brugge location in Bruges, Belgium!! My girlfriend @KatinaEatsKilos and I spent 10 days vacationing with my family around Paris and Normandy, France, followed by Amsterdam, Netherlands. Then we headed to Brussels, Belgium to begin attempting Belgian food challenges around Belgium. For big Belgian restaurant food eating challenge #5, we took the train northwest to Brugge, Belgium so that we could each attempt the XL Spaghetti Bolognese Pasta Challenge hosted by Mister Spaghetti. There are 6 locations around Belgium and I originally beat this same pasta challenge back in 2016 with my Czech competitive eater friend "Steel Rod" Radim at Mister Spaghetti's location in Roeselare, Belgium. I finished back then in 8:44 which was the record for many years until a Belgian man named Bruno beat that time record by finishing in a blazing fast 7:56. For the XL Spaghetti Bolognese Pasta Challenge, there is a 30 minute time limit to feast on lots of freshly prepared spaghetti noodles topped with a Spaghetti Bolognese meat sauce. The whole bowl weighs around 2.4kg just over 5lbs. Katina really wanted to try the challenge for a first time, and I wanted to try to reclaim my time record by eating everything faster than 7:56. For finishing in less than 30 minutes, winners receive the €25 bowl of pasta free plus a sweet bib, a Certificate of Completion, and a spot up on the Mister Spaghetti location's Wall of Fame.
