You will probably be shocked that it is NOT $1000 a month, though I already own my house (well, my wife does). If you are relocating to Thailand, expat life in Thailand and especially the northeast (Isan) like Khon Kaen, should be relatively cheap whether you are retired or married in Thailand but there are still lots of variables to consider. How much money do I really need to live in Khon Kaen per month. Could you afford NOT to live in Khon Kaen or even Thailand?
