In this video, I share my journey troubleshooting the cause of the 30something second premature shutdown of an Onan Marquis Gold 5500 Generator in my 2001 Fleetwood 32h Bounder. I am not a mechanic, so I depended on my life experiences and the Internet to learn about similar issues with gasoline combustion engines and more specifically, Onan generators.

This is the first of two videos, I share my diagnostic efforts, what I learned during this process of test and elimination, and ultimately, how I was able to get my Onan generator repaired.
