Tricks I Taught My Dog 🐶 Caesar - Play Dead Spin Give Paw Shame And Others

Funny Creatures

Here’s an edited video in which Caesar, my Transylvanian hound, shows you a few of the tricks I taught him. These tricks are: play dead (bang bang!), spin, give paw, other paw, both paws, shame, sit, down, eat, who’s the boss and do you understand me.

Having a welleducated dog is amazing. It makes every moment spent with him/her a lot more stress free and fun.

If it’s too hard to focus on each Caesar, individually, and you want to see him do the tricks without the doubles, please let me know.

I remember what it was like with my first dog, a female Labrador named Lea. I didn't train her much (except a few basic things like fetching, sitting and eating on command) so she was pretty wild and independent. Walking her on a leash was terrible. She would always pull, thinking that she was the leader. Also, one time, she was really annoying because she messed up my entire room after leaving her alone for a couple of hours. I got very angry at her and, at the same time, concerned, because I thought she might have licked the spilled ink from a bottle that she had broken. She did a lot of naughty things, and I still loved her, but it would have been a lot more fun if she were more educated.

Everything changed, after Lea passed away, when I adopted Caesar, a Transylvanian hound mix. The previous experiences with Lea made me pretty determined to start educating Caesar since he was a pup. And that I did. I taught him, to this day, in his first two years of life (almost), about 36 commands. I actually made a list so I wouldn’t forget them. I taught him a lot of things, besides doing cute tricks, like, for instance, walking with or without a leash and jogging. All this training has brought us really close together. I’m happy with him most of the time. He’s still a teenager, so being disobedient once in a while is understandable.

This is the best site, with dog training courses, I have found so far. There, Adrienne Farricelli, a professional CPDTKA certified dog trainer, living in Arizona, will teach you everything you need to know.
