When vacationing to Cuba, you must remember, you are entering a country that has not conducted business with the United States since the 1950's. What to bring to Cuba? There are many items that you've become accustomed to using in the US that simply don't exist in Cuba (like Pepto Bismol). The first of some #cubatraveltips is to recognize that there are some differences in the food that Cubans eat as well as water that isn't like your home town's. These factors could impact your stomach. Take probiotics in advance to attempt to prevent GI issues. The sun is also unusually strong especially in July and August. be careful with your skin as well as heat exhaustion. Other travel tips for visiting Cuba include bringing simple pain killers like Tylenol and Advil as you most likely will be hung over from all the mojitos and not be able to find these precious gem anywhere (maybe other Americans).
