While Damien Martinez has dominated the Miami Hurricanes Transfer Portal headlines lately, other targets are emerging at wide receiver, defensive line and defensive back. The Hurricanes appear to be pursuing Houston WR Sam Brown. Brown had 815 receiving yards and three touchdowns last season. He played for current Miami OC Shannon Dawson there in 2022. The Hurricanes appear interested in Michigan State defensive tackle Simeon Barrow. He was arguably MSU’s top defensive player last season.

Host Alex Donno explains why Brown might be a worthwhile target even though Miami has a solid receiver room. The Hurricanes also appear to be pursuing Marshall cornerback Dyoni Hill and Western Kentucky cornerback Anthony Johnson Jr. Hill played for Miami cornerbacks coach Chevis Jackson at Marshall and Johnson is a South Florida native.
