How to handle a dog while they are tracking

When tracking, the dogs don't just run off and do their own thing but are on the end of a long line so that the handler stays with the dog but can give them the freedom to be able to move where they choose to.


In this video, Heather Donnelly demonstrates how to train both dog and handler to get used to working with the long line. She also shares with us what are the typical mistakes handler and dog make and what to do about them.
