This video shows the detailed steps to replace the PCV Valve on the Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Sequoia, or Lexus LX570 equipped with the 5.7L V8. The repair is quick, takes 1020 minutes, and is easy to do even for the DIY person with basic hand tools.

If you have problems such as smoke at startup, oil loss between oil changes, worsening gas mileage and poor MPG, burning oil, or caked up oil under the oil cap... this may be worth doing. It is a very cheap fix and solves a lot of problems that people don't realize is caused by a bad PCV valve.
