If you want to buy a new Toyota hybrid SUV, you’ll know there are crazy RAV4 Hybrid wait times in most countries, including Australia. In fact, the 2021 RAV4 Hybrid is the most popular SUV sold in Australia. So, that raises the question: should you consider the RAV4’s little brother, the CHR Hybrid? Less powerful and smaller, the CHR is actually better to drive than the RAV4 and is more European in execution.

Or should you consider something else entirely like a Kia Seltos, Mazda CX30 or Skoda Karoq? Or even a Lexus UX?
