Toyota 4Runner Oil Cooler Seals Replacement 4x4 (1996-2002)

My 1997 4x4 Toyota 4Runner recently developed an oil leak. After the dealership quoted me $1000 to reseal the oil pan, I decided to take a look into the issue myself. I initially replaced the dipstick oring which had become dry rotted over the span of 24 years, however the leak was still there. Next I degreased the area and waited for the leaks return. After seeing an accumulation of oil dripping from the block/where the oil cooler sits, I decided it was time to attack those seals. Upon this repair, I found a blockage in the oil cooler as well as the coolant line running into the cooler. After replacing the seals and clearing the blockages, I reinstalled and degreased the area, and drove about 500 miles to check if the leak returned. The leak is now very minimal, which now narrows down the 2 easy fixes to just the oil pan seal. At least now with these other 2 out of the way I know the pan is all that's left !
