We LOVED Fiji! We had a 3 day layover so we spent it in the Nadi area. The people here are so friendly and kind, and we really enjoyed these wonderful attractions.
#1 Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple the largest Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere
#2 Produce Market A local market with lots of different fruits, vegetables and flowers where we watched a man open a coconut and we got to drink the water
#3 Garden of the Sleeping Giant a beautiful garden on a mountain in the shape of a giant with tons of different types of orchids, plants, and flowers
#4 Tour of a Modern Village We learned that the people of Fiji are originally from Tanzania and Egypt. Later, people from India came as well. Most of the people in Fiji are Christian.
#5 Cultural Night Tour We toured a Fijian village from the distant past and learned how they lived. Then, we had dinner that was cooked in an Earth Oven and watched an amazing show of singing, dancing, and fire dancing!
#6 Radisson Blu Resort is where we stayed, and we loved it!
#7 Shopping and Restaurants
#8 Captain Cook Cruise to their private island of Tivua where we went snorkeling and took a ride in a glass bottom boat
