One of my proudest builds here on my property was this cabin in the woods. After months of planning and deciding on a design I quickly found out that the planning stage was the easiest part of this whole build. With each piece of wood used to build this cabin coming from my own woodlot, it took me months just to harvest the trees, skid them to my sawmill, saw them into usable lumber even before I started hammering a single nail. With about 8 months of time spent building the cabin after all the wood was sawn, to say this was a long project is an understatement. Let's not get mixed up though, this was well worth it. On today's episode I"ll give you the grand tour of what makes this tiny house/cabin so special to me and why I"m super proud of it. Sure is a great feeling looking back at the project after it's been complete for about 3 years and be able to appreciate it as much as the day I completed it.
