I aerated and topdressed my dead lawn with sand as I convert my tall fescue to a bermuda lawn. This video covers the final steps of core aerating and topdressing with sand to prepare the ground before sprigging with bermuda. The aeration and sand topdressing will help level and smooth the lawn, improve drainage, and help the bermuda spread grow after sprigging. Prior to these final steps in my renovation, the existing tall fescue has been killed, scalped, and dethatch to remove as much dead grass as possible. I want my lawn renovation to be as successful as possible so I'm making sure I prep the ground and soil as best as I can. This is one of the steps I am taking on my journey to convert this part of my tall fescue lawn to IronCutter Bermuda lawn and I hope you enjoy it with me. This is part of a mini series with several episodes of me documenting this entire process. Leave a Comment, Like, and Subscribe if you like what a show on my channel. Thank you for your support!
