Rain, water, pretty much the only things that can ruin a mountain bikers day. They make the trails unrideable and super muddy. Yet rain and wet are so important to our mountain bike trails because it compacts the dirt making it a better surface for us to ride on and also makes the roots and rocks more visible and gnarly. But it's still a big bummer when you realize that it's going to rain on the day that you were planning to ride. Hello guys my name is Ben and this is bad bikes and here are 5 things you can do when you can't MTB.

The first one is cleaning up your shop, garage, or wherever you keep your bikes and tools. This is a great time to do it because you have nothing else to do and if you're like me you probably have been procrastinating about it.

The second one is track standing. This is a lot of fun and can be a great way to work on your bike skills. Also another plus about track standing is that it doesn't take up alot of space. you could do this in your apartment without a problem, except if your bike is dirty.

The third one is working on your bike. I recently bought some new parts for my ride and since it was raining and I couldn't ride my bike i put them on my MTB and MAN do they work well.

The third one is planning out a new bike ride. This can be almost as much fun as riding the trail. I like to use trailforks.com because it's free and for most of the trails they have videos and pictures so you can sortove get a feel for the trail.

And last but not least you can find a corner and pout because you can't go on your bike ride. OK that wasn’t an actual type so here is an extra. If you lay on your back you can ride your bike upside down. This is a little bit harder than riding your bike up rite because it uses different muscles but you'll get the hang of it.Well it stopped raining time for me to get on my bike and get back on the trails.
