The six keyboards I’m comparing here are the MAudio Oxygen Pro Mini, the FLkey Mini, Native Instruments M32, Arturia Minilab 3, Akai MPK Mini MK3 and the Akai MPK Mini Plus and the Novation Launchkey Mini MK3. All these keyboards have 25 keys (except for the M32, Oxygen Pro Mini, and the MPK Mini Plus) and are capable of playing sounds through software and your DAW, and also controlling the sounds you make. I will cover features, feel, portability, build quality, and included software. These are midi controller keyboards, so they don’t make sounds on their own, they need software which is included to produce sounds. All keyboards are around $120, except for the MPK Mini Plus which costs a bit more. These midi controller keyboards work with DAWs including Ableton Live, Logic, FL Studio, and many others.
