Some reasons to consider Maremma livestock guardian dog ( LGD ) over other breeds like the Great Pyrenees, Kangals and Anatolian Shepherds:

Maremmas roam less
Maremmas bark less
Maremmas are a bit smaller in size
Maremmas eat less
Costs less

As I mentioned in the video there is a context for every dog, but if you are in situation where you don’t want your livestock guardian dog to roam or bark too much; the Maremma breed is one to look at.
