In this week's vlog I'm sharing my top five beginner sewing patterns easy to sew and easy to wear whilst also teaching you those crucial beginner sewing skills to get you started on your dressmaking journey. I've chosen simple tops and skirts in different styles that can be sewn in a variety of beginner friendly and more advanced dressmaking fabrics to create a range of different looks. The sewing techniques covered include darts, waistbands, zips, hems, straps and more. I've sewn all of the patterns myself and love wearing these garments time and time again so they really are a personal recommendation.
