Rottweilers are strong, confident, protective dogs.
They are working dogs so their most important objective is to please their owner. They will protect your family at any cost making them a great family pet.

The honest and simple truth is yes.
If not trained properly they can be very destructive and “unleashed” animals.
Just like every animal child, or human with proper training, they can and will be fantastic.

2:25 3 Things to look for when picking a puppy?

Start with the breeder, be weary of anyone who doesn’t let you visit the home or verify that you’re buying a real puppy. There is a lot of dog scammers out there.
Next you wanna check out the parents. Some key things to look for are:
how many times has the female been bred?
Do the parents have any current health issues?
How do the dog parents respond to the owners?
Let the dog choose you.
And decide if you want a male or a female.

Depending on the day, whether doing raw food or kibble or a mix of both.
Kibble 4 cups a day.
Raw food consists of half pound of chicken, 12 eggs, veggies and 1 cup of kibble.

Both are Strong, loyal, intelligent and protective.

Rottweilers are typically 2040 pounds heavier. Stronger, and they shed more.
Dobermans can run faster and have higher energy levels than Rottweilers, and tend to have a little longer of a life span with quite a few less health issues.
As far as price goes they are pretty similar costing $800$2500

Short answer. yes. Again, if trained properly.
They can be great with small dogs, bigger dogs, and cats. Their needs to be proper socialization and the earlier in the dogs life, the better.

Short answer. Yes. They do have a beautiful thick double coat that requires brushing of at least once a week to release body oils, remove shedding hair and also this is a great time to thoroughly check their body for cuts, blemishes, or health issues.

Common misconception but short answer is no.
Their are places like HOAs that do not allow them due to the name the public has given them for being aggressive protection dogs.

Now be sure to check a few things before getting a Rottweiler, some cities/counties can have breed restrictions.

Some homeowners insurance does not allow or even cover Rottweilers on the property of the home.
Be sure to line up all your ducks before getting yourself into the breed.
