After a lack of trainspotting in the last few weeks, Tommy and Dad head to Tommy's favourite station at Widdrington on a beautiful sunny Northumberland day. We saw lots of trains and got lots of beeps but just missed a freight train when we arrived and then the next freight train kept being delayed. Heading home a little downbeat, we decided to race to Cramlington Station to catch the freight train there instead. We were treated to 3 beautiful engines that were certainly worth the wait.

The locomotives we saw were 88005, 68008 & 66021.
