I am the way, the truth, and the life, says the Lord;
Philip, whoever has seen me has seen the Father.

Gospel: John 14:614
Jesus said to Thomas, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, surely you would also have known my Father. And from now on, you shall know him, and you have seen him.” Philip said to him, “Lord, reveal the Father to us, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him: “Have I been with you for so long, and you have not known me? Philip, whoever sees me, also sees the Father. How can you say, ‘Reveal the Father to us?’ Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I am speaking to you, I do not speak from myself. But the Father abiding in me, he does these works. Otherwise, believe because of these same works. Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me shall also do the works that I do. And greater things than these shall he do, for I go to the Father. And whatever you shall ask the Father in my name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything of me in my name, that I will do."

Friday, May 3, 2024 A moment with GOD through HIS WORD.

Reflection: Do I truly know Jesus and the Father, or is there more depth and intimacy I can seek in my relationship with them?

Prayer: My divine and personal Lord, it is the deepest desire of Your Sacred Heart to know me and to love me. Fill my heart with this same desire so that I will not only know You, dear Lord, but also the Father in Heaven. Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your perfect love and pray that I may open myself to that love more fully each and every day. Saints Philip and James, pray for me. Jesus, I trust in You.
