OCT 17: Grandpa Mason has sent us some more surprise kittens.... three weeks old, with the dreaded ringworm. We need to follow a strict isolation protocol to keep the ringworm contained, so they won't be able to have the usual toys and other adorable things for now since we will need to throw away or thoroughly disinfect everything they come into contact with.

SEP 25: Due to the general chaos resulting from someone ordering too many kittens from his apparently unlimited data plan over the Bridge, and a whole bunch of unplanned TNR, and Mr. T Pickles being in the ICU, you will have to watch these adorable kittens until we get some logistics sorted out. Mr. Pickles will be back at some point!

PREVIOUSLY ON THIS CHANNEL:
SEP 4: Titan (a.k.a. Mr. Pickles) has joined the colony, and Thistle + Prim have been adopted! Titan is a senior feral cat who was nearly dead when he showed up at our feeding station and asked us for help. He is responding encouragingly to treatment for hyperthyroid, severe infections, dehydration and has gained 1 pound in his first week with us! He's not out of the woods yet, but he's alive, comfortable and starting to enjoy snuggles.

Mama Fiera and her kitten, Judith, were rescued from a feral colony to get medical treatment and spays. Both are now social and healthy, and ready for a forever family of their own to love!

We trapped pregnant feral cats Serenity and Nelia so they could give birth somewhere safe for the last time. In the wild, only 25% of kittens survive due to predators, disease, injury, weather and starvation, which is why it's so important to spay and neuter. See updates and links below:

UPDATE APR 22: Feral mama Serenity gave birth for the last time to four beautiful kittens: 1) ginger boy: Clover, 2) black boy: Tulip, 3) tabby girl with dramatic eyeliner: Iris, 4) tuxie girl: Tiarella Ninja. So far, kittens are nursing and appear healthy. All palates have passed inspection. :)

UPDATE APR 3: Nelia gave birth to four beautiful kittens via emergency csection Atlas, Rhea, Gaia and Orion. Sadly, on April 7th, we lost little Gaia due to heart failure.
