This little guy has been through so much, it's a miracle he lives to tell the tale. Beemer was found on the side of the road after he was brutally struck by a car. It appears as if he was left in a basket, one laying next to him, abandoned just the same as he was. His back legs were shattered, rendering him unable to walk or even stand, in addition to injuring his eye.

Beemer deserves a second chance, and we want to give it to him, but we can't do it alone. He is heartworm positive and will need at least 23 surgeries to repair the damages he sustained from this traumatic event.

Our vet determined Beemer has feeling in his back left leg, which is good news! We will not know until the surgeon begins surgery though if his left leg can be saved. His right leg should be repairable though, so we are trying to count the blessings!

Beemer is tiny, at just 16lbs and about 4 years old, but he is a fighter! Despite everything he's been through, he has remained the sweetest little guy! He deserves to be shown so much love!
