Ticks are very annoying and can sometimes also cause a lot of damage to not only us humans but also animals. Lions in the wild usually just live with them but in some cases, it can happen that ticks cause big wounds which then get infected and eventually lead to the death of the animal. So if I as a part of the Pride have the ability to remove them for their wellbeing I feel responsible to do so, cause I strongly believe they would do the same for me too!
