The most satisfying and worthy element of "Vinland Saga: Season 2" is the character development of Thorfinn after the events of the first season. By facing his sins and abandoning the path of violence, Thorfinn finally matures and follows the same way of his father Thors, by choosing to seek peace and freedom rather than death and destruction.
The music by Yutaka Yamada emphatize the resolution of Thorfinn's decision and the hardship he goes through to stand by his beliefs and choices. I loved that Yamada reprised the theme of "The Real Warrior" and associated it with Thorfinn in the tracks "Recalls" and "The Oath", while also composing the moving and triumphant themes of "Fire" and "Two Souls". For this video I included also from the Season 1 OST the tracks "Savage Wind" and "Still Blade", which were featured in Episodes 16 and 17 when Thorfinn opposed Snake to defend Gardar.
